Hyaluronic Acid Collagen Q10 Botox
Hyaluronic acid (INCI: Sodium Hyaluronate)What is hyaluronic acid?We naturally have hyaluronic acid as a component of various types of connective tissue in our bodies. A hyaluronic molecule can bind up to 1000 times its weight in moisture, up to 6 liters of water per gram of its own weight. It serves as a kind of moisture reservoir in the skin and also in the joints. Half of the hyaluronic acid found in the body is in the skin. There it ensures plump and well-padded skin, supports the elastic and collagen fibers and is even said to be able to absorb free radicals. As a substance that occurs naturally in the body, there are no allergies or intolerances. What happens if hyaluronic acid is missing? The problem is: from around the age of 25, the amount of it decreases; by the age of 50, only half of this miracle cure is said to be in our bodies. Visible and tangible signs: dry skin, fine lines and wrinkles, crow's feet, strong nasolabial folds, decreasing skin tension and elasticity; the skin can no longer regenerate and protect itself properly.--> Now it's up to us. We need hyaluronic acid! ;-)It comes in various forms; as capsules to take, injected by the specialist directly into the wrinkles, as serums and creams. But here too there are small differences with big effects.High molecular weight hyaluronic acid has a higher molecular mass and cannot penetrate as deeply into the skin due to its size. It forms a moisture-binding film on the surface of the skin. Disadvantage of products with high molecular weight hyaluronic acid: The user has to apply it regularly for it to have any effect.Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid can penetrate deeper into the skin due to smaller molecules and store the water in the connective tissue. The skin is plumped up from the inside, small wrinkles disappear. The effect lasts longer. A reduction in the depth of wrinkles has been proven primarily with regular use of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Both types show a significant increase in skin moisture and elasticity. There is often a mix of the different types. Alcohol as a preservative limits the effect of the moisture-binding acid, as alcohol dries out the skin. I have therefore had the best experience with colloidal silver as a preservative in hyaluronic acid. This is how the best possible effect is achieved. If someone wants to make their own skin care from hyaluronic powder: water with colloidal silver is the best basis for a long-lasting and fragrant mix!
Collagen Collagen is a protein that the body can produce itself and that is necessary for the functioning of connective tissue, joints, bones, internal organs, fascia and much more. Collagen makes up 60% of connective tissue alone. It is found primarily in the middle layer of the skin (dermis), where it is formed by fibroblasts. There are five different types of collagen in the skin alone. All types ensure that the skin is elastic and firm. It has the ability to bind up to 15 times its own mass in water. This ensures elasticity and resilience. Various types of collagen have also been used in cosmetics for decades for beauty and well-being: plant, animal or marine collagen. Synthetic production is less common. After a good collagen treatment, a clear difference can usually be seen. Plump, firm, radiant skin. Regular care at home with good and individually effective products is necessary to maintain such results. Problem: After around 30 years of age, the body's own collagen production declines. The existing collagen also stores less moisture in the skin, which leads to wrinkles. Now action must be taken to delay further drying out. There are various ways to do this: 1. Creams and skin care 2. Swallowing capsules 3. Collagen injections 4. Collagen benches in the solarium. Skin care with collagen creamWrinkle creams, lotions, lipsticks, shampoos and shower gels contain collagen. Their components do not really manage to penetrate the middle layer of the skin (dermis), where they are actually needed. However, there is a positive effect. In the upper layer of the skin (epithelium), a water-retaining film forms that protects the skin from drying out. The skin feels soft. Similar to high-molecular hyaluronic acid, the skin must be regularly moisturized. Collagen to take ingestCollagen is available as a capsule, powder or liquid to take ingest. The advantage is that it can reach the middle layer of the skin in the body via the bloodstream. However, it should be taken regularly. The skin becomes plumper and moister again, small lines disappear. Colleagues injected under the skin This can also be done by specialists to reduce wrinkles. Just like with Botox, the collagen in the body breaks down again, so it would have to be repeated after a while. Allergies are also possible, which should be tested beforehand. Special collagen light An insider tip are sunbeds that promote collagen production with a special light (between 590 and 640 nm). There are several providers, in tanning salon chains they often have other names or the original ones such as "Beauty Angel" or "Mon Ami". The special collagen tubes support the formation of collagen and elastin, the skin's appearance is improved, small wrinkles and lines are reduced. Athletes also use the advantages of the collagen lamp in an intensive form, for example to heal connective tissue and muscle injuries more quickly. UV rays can be switched off on most of these loungers (also available as a "standing bench"). The recommended application time also depends on the intensity. What can I do to make sure my colleague is well? Amino acids and vitamin C are necessary for collagen to be formed in the body. They support the enzymes that build collagen, which is good for skin, hair, teeth, joints and tendons. Meat, fish and eggs are beneficial in combination with vitamin C. Zinc, antioxidants and silicon from sea buckthorn, pumpkin seeds, blueberries or millet also support collagen formation. Smoking, stress and too much sun are counterproductive when it comes to our little collagens.
Coenzyme Q10 Another active ingredient is sometimes seen as a miracle cure in the fight against wrinkles: coenzyme 10. It is necessary for the energy supply of the cells and is said to strengthen the immune system. The most important properties are its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects as well as its ability to ward off free radicals. This active ingredient is therefore often used in cosmetics. Coenzyme 10 is a substance produced by the body which is good for the skin, nerves and cardiovascular system. The active ingredient can also be absorbed through food. For example, sesame oil, nuts and onions contain the active ingredient. Coenzyme Q10 is a molecule that is difficult to dissolve in water, even if it is sometimes offered as a water-soluble powder that you can mix into cream yourself. It therefore has difficulty penetrating the deeper layers of the skin, where it should ideally take effect. In cosmetics production, the active ingredients are therefore encapsulated in liposomes. This enables effective penetration. In this case, the INCI name of lecithin is noted on the ingredients list of cosmetics.
