PR TIPS 5 tips to get you in the press ✔Have a real current "hook" or, as an expert, have well-founded information on current issuesPlease no praise about how great the manager or a product is, nobody reads that, not even halfway through... ✔No mass mailings, instead target the right journalistsWho is interested in my information? Which media are relevant for it? ✔In the imprint or by politely calling the editorial office, ask for the responsible editor and "gauge" interest before sending out further information (suitable for invitations to special events), please not during the usual daily editorial conference (often 10 a.m.) or when you are at peak pressure before going to print (in the afternoon) ✔ Express provocative but technically based opinions and thus offer yourself as a discussion partner in the media - if the topic is current - attention can also be achieved via social media, through comments and statements ✔ Attract attention in social media through statements and comments, journalists are also active and will get in touch if they are interested or are more open-minded when approached proactively if they already know about something 5 tips for current hotel PR (October 28, 2020) ✔ Increase guest loyalty Special guest anniversaries? Congratulations from the management is as surprising as a serenade, a voucher - even after departure. Personal (telephone) inquiries about impressions in the house (but please not in a stressful situation) deviate from the digital-inflationary evaluation practice, provided that your GDPR basis allows it. ✔ Closeness through knowledge Newsletters, social media, mailings, guest magazines, cooperation channels are waiting... ✔ Media contacts/press releases Remain present even under changing conditions. ✔ Events bind guests. Digital kitchen or wellness tips from your specialists help, also as a series in the regional press or in magazines of your favorite guests. It only takes a little effort. Recorded and sustainable. ✔ People do it! Introduce doers. That connects. This makes guests feel like "coming home" when they arrive. 5 tips for ads: Naked skin is NOT the solution We were taught in the past that print advertising has to be seen 7-8 times for it to even be noticed. My ad placements confirm this. What helps to save costs and still reach the desired guests? A new study on the effect of print advertising (MediaAnalyzer Hamburg) revealed: 💎Men react to the stimuli of bare skin, women don't even look at aesthetically shaped bare torsos 💎Faces are eye-catchers 💎Particularly important: the logo! It should be placed in an integrated manner - not always in the bottom right corner. Harmoniously integrated, it ensures brand awareness. 💎Too much bare skin and too many interesting faces are harmful! Product, content and brand fall by the wayside. What can be deduced from the study? ✔Focus on what's important ✔Implement ✔Stick with it ✔Appeal to potential guests through placement and keywords without wastage; ideal: Native Ads 5 TIPS for safe well-being during the restart (June 17, 2020) ✔ Transparent communication about measures with guests in advance ✔Safety through visible and more frequent hygiene measures ✔Adaptation of treatments in the spa and creation of additional current added value (e.g. hand pack for hands damaged by disinfection, tips for self-care at home) ✔ Increased offering of contactless wellness offers (e.g. mental wellness, yoga, mindfulness, aroma and sensory exercises, device treatments) ✔Intensification of service through increased individual attention beyond the previous framework (asking questions and responding to current personal needs): Touching in a different, special way! 5 feel-good tips when you're stressed (May 15, 2020) The spas, fitness and wellness centers have not reopened everywhere yet. So here are a few tips on how the impatient wait until then can be put to good use. 💎 See the beauty in the moment Thinking influences being. So with positive thinking there are also fewer stomach aches or psychosomatic complaints, provided that feeling and thinking are consistent. The time that cannot now be used for habits gives opportunities - and inevitably peace. Why not use this time intensively to calm yourself down? It is also good to question habits and necessarily end them. How about meditation? Great background music that further deepens relaxation can be found here or on YouTube, among other places. Breathing exercises in between? With a walk during which you consciously only pay attention to the beautiful spring scents or the chirping of the birds?Forget everything and focus only on yourself, your breath, the beauty and also the people you love. 💎 Fragrant mood with scents - TIP: In the current KOSMETIK INTERNATIONAL (November 2021I) there is an article by me on this topic. Scents influence the mood just like light or chocolate, only they don't make you fat. Ideal for going on a scent journey and really relaxing. Are you angry, is the mood tense? Then bergamot can help. This fruity, tart scent can relieve tension and lead to relaxation. (Incidentally, it also has this in Earl Grey tea, even if it often only uses aromas and not the pure oil.) If you are not really motivated and need a little boost: citrus scents like lemon or mandarin help you feel good. And what helps when the stress of the day just won't go away and then your ex or mother barges in on the phone? Lavender is the solution! The oil helps you relax. Just like pine oil from the Alps, it calms you down and lowers blood pressure. With the right oils, the evening is saved! 💎 Cook for yourself again As long as you don't have to go to the big canteen in your home office, this is a chance to avoid forgetting your own things! What was that about the homemade dressing again? There are no limits to creativity, just the amount of stuff in the fridge. It is instructive to google the most important ingredients or vegetables and then consciously enjoy the vitamins and minerals that you now know - in a tasty environment. Advantage: clarity about what is on the plate in front of you. And this knowledge may later let your own light shine at another meal with friends. By the time your favorite restaurant opens again, your lost cooking skills will have been rediscovered and your taste buds trained! 💎 Spring cleaning for new dreams Forced restrictions support inner balance. If a thousand dates used to beckon, the peace and quiet can be used to find yourself. Before that, there is an intensive spring cleaning; both inside and out. Inner clarity requires a clear environment! When your apartment shines and all the mirrors and windows and corners no longer offer battlefields, real relaxation begins. Consciously enjoy the peace and quiet, celebrate your previous activities. It makes sense to write down at least three things that you are grateful for and that make you happy. And then: what you want to have in your life soon for absolute happiness. Write this down too, put it in an envelope and you will be surprised when you open this dream preview again in a year! In any case, it will organize - the apartment and you. 💎 Beautiful skin Stress is bad for your mood - and for your skin! Cosmetics offer the chance to stand up to the little pimple maker. Maybe you have a nice (care) mask for your face, a nice oil from the kitchen for a hair pack and a winter care cream for hands and feet? If you can find a proper hand or foot pack in the depths of your cosmetics cupboard, all the better. Apply a thick layer of cream to your hands and feet, put an old cotton glove or old socks on top. If you want, you can put a plastic bag over the creamed hands and feet. This has the advantage that the skin sweats, the pores open further and the nourishing active ingredients can penetrate deeper into the skin. During these 20 minutes of rest, play your favorite music, take a (body) fragrance spray and enjoy this feel-good time for yourself! Any cream that has not been absorbed after 20 minutes can be easily removed with a towel. Please do not wash the dishes immediately afterwards! This would disturb the nourishing fat and oil that has been so laboriously absorbed.
